How StoragePermit works

Store a bag without the guesswork.

Book online, pay by Mobile Money, and follow every handoff from check-in to secure pickup.

Before you start

  • Closed bags up to 23 kg each
  • An email address and government ID
  • Drop-off and pickup dates
  • A Mobile Money number for payment

The journey

Five steps, in the order they happen

The booking reference helps us find your booking. Your verified account, pickup pass, and ID protect the private parts.

  1. 1

    Describe your bags

Tell us what is inside each bag, how many bags you have, and the dates you need.

Each physical bag must weigh 23 kg or less. If your contents are heavier, repack them into separate bags before handover.

  2. 2

    Verify your email

A one-time email code protects your booking and loads saved details when you return.

After email verification, you can review your quote. Your government ID is recorded for secure handoffs, not used as your online password.

  3. 3

    Review and pay

Review your quote, then approve the Mobile Money request on your phone.

Payment confirms your booking. An unpaid quote does not reserve space, and the amount is not charged until you approve it on your phone.

  4. 4

    Hand over your bags

Complete the planned handover at the confirmed location and time.

For a standard drop-off, bring each bag to KG 643 St. Staff confirm the weight, assign storage, and record check-in in your private tracker. Custody begins when check-in is complete.

  5. 5

    Collect securely

When your bags are ready, prepare a one-time six-digit pickup pass in your account.

We match the pass and the collector’s government ID before release. Your booking reference cannot release a bag.

What we accept

Everyday belongings, clearly described

We store dry personal items that can sit safely at room temperature. Tell us what is inside every bag before handover.

Good fits

Clothes, sports gear, books and media, gifts, personal-care items, toys, kitchenware, bedding, instruments, electronics, and ordinary documents.

Not accepted

Cash, jewellery, passports or IDs, title documents, food or perishables, chemicals, aerosols, fuel, weapons, illegal items, or contents you cannot describe.

23 kg per physical bag

Repack heavier contents into separate bags before drop-off. We weigh each bag at check-in. Unusual items can be sent for human review, but a request is not a confirmed booking.

Custody and pickup

A recorded handoff in, a verified handoff out

The person bringing a bag and the person collecting it can be different. Each handoff keeps only the information needed for that role.

At check-in

  • Confirm the weight and bag identity.
  • Assign the bag to a storage space.
  • Record check-in in the private tracker.

At pickup

  • Owner prepares a short-lived, one-time six-digit pickup pass.
  • Staff match the collector’s recorded government ID.
  • The ID check and release are recorded together.

Booking reference versus pickup pass

Your SP-XXXXX booking reference helps you, support, and staff find the right booking. It does not prove identity and cannot release a bag. A nominated collector does not need a smartphone or account: the owner can relay the pickup pass by voice or SMS, and the collector brings the government ID already recorded.

Privacy and responsibility

We explain why we ask before we ask

This guide explains the service in plain language. It does not replace the Customer Terms or Privacy Notice for a paid booking.
